![]() ![]() Sometimes, I would never get the chance to fully complete what I was doing before. There would be times where I’m working on an assignment, and I would be asked to stop what I am doing and tackle something else. My main challenge was focusing on one assignment at a time. Although this is a great thing, it posed some issues for me. ![]() I have learned to really multitask while working under iGrade Records, Moringa Lion and Riddims Culture shop. If I was given and assignment it, I was not rushed to get it done. For the past few weeks the atmosphere I have been interning in was pretty laid back. The conscious flow of reggae music dances in the background behind the voices of nearby customer’s inquiring about store items. Soft music fills the air as I work my weekly assignments at the Riddims shop in Christiansted town. If I had to do all over again, I would still choose to work for iGrade Records, Moringa Lion and Riddims Music & Culture Shop. If anything it has made me even more curious and hungrier to be a part of it! All my experiences will surely stick with me. My perceptions of this profession as well as my goals have not change because of this internship. The beginning of the experience was a bit slow but under the circumstances, I found it to be worthwhile. I do see myself gaining way more than what I have already learned. ![]() I can handle myself well in the shop if they needed the assistance because I was trained to work in that environment and not only in the back editing and monitoring the business social media outlets. We worked a great deal on marketing and selling a produce something I never had experience doing until now. I also know how the powder form of the product is created. With the Moringa lion experience, I learned how to create a pill form of the plant that would be easier for consumers to tolerate. I have also gain an understanding of creating a business from the ground up. I am truly grateful for her patience and willingness to educate me in that skill. I haven’t taken public relations as a course yet but I she taught me how to write a press release effectively and even gave me the opportunity to create a couple for events that took place. I have learned quite a lot from working under Vanessa, Tippys’ store manager. I may not have gotten all the exposure I wanted in regards to film editing but I am not disappointed because I have been granted access to continue working with Paul Crusin to gain that knowledge. I met wonderful and talented people who show me new things every time we meet.
